September 13th, 2011
There has seldom been a more important time for youth politics. In the aftermath of the economic crisis, during a period of devastating public sector cuts, we are left with a situation in which young people are becoming more and more disenfranchised by the political system that is meant to represent them, unable to break the barriers they face to find employment, a place in higher education or even a voice to express their political concern.
We at Compass Youth are inviting a small number of fellow political activists and campaigners to meet on Monday 19th September at The Islington Tap for an evening of drinks with Neal Lawson and discussion about where the future lies for youth politics.
This event will be commemorate the start of a new and more proactive Compass Youth and will be followed by a series of events across the year.
The event will take place on Monday 19th September, between 7pm and 8.30pm, at The Islington Tap, 80 Liverpool Road, London, N1 0QD.

Please RSVP to youthsecretary@compassonline.org.uk in advance to confirm your place, or for more information on the event.
Together we can be the change we wish to see!
