The political system is failing us.

The jilted generation have been left a legacy of public and environmental debt by the baby boomers who climbed up, then pulled away the ladder. With record youth unemployment, a crippling price tag on university education and debilitating cuts to public services, we need a radical vision.

We call that vision the Good Society: one where there is far greater social, political, and economic equality; where democracy is deepened at every level; where the planet’s sustainability is made an urgent priority. It’s a society where the market is made to work as the servant of society.

Compass Youth are the under-30 youth wing of the think tank Compass: Direction for the Democratic Left, and organises autonomously autonomous to engage young people.  Together we campaign, develop our skills and turn good ideas into good actions. We are a pluralist movement who believe politics is too important to be left to the politicians.
